ok well this is gonna be long so read up....
ofcourse i have to start with my favorite band for right now which is THE SMASHING PUMPKINS . omg they kick so much ass. i love music that is deep like thiers. im sure if you all would give it a shot youd fall in love as well.
THE DOORS-well we all know a good band when we hear one..this is definitly one. i'm more of a creative music person and Jim Morrison totally defines creative for me. This band has a certain level of depth that is so wierd that many can't understand it...oh well that sucks for them.
Rolling Stones- childhood memories...wooo...my dad used to think he was Mick Jagger (how totally fooled he was). I truly feel that this was one of the best bands ever. They are legends!! Go Mick and Keith...anywho you should check these rockers out...lol.
The Beatles- I love these guys but the music towards the end totally kicks way more ass...i wasnt all about the boy band shit they pulled. but their love songs are awesome -melts-.
The Eagles- I wish i could live in the Hotel California? anywho i fell for this band for some odd reason in the 8th grade. I dont think anyone even recommended me to themor anything i just decided to check them out. well that was one decision that i did good on..(wow what a change?). wow im a sucker for classic rock i must say. (oh yea...Jon likes them too...how awesome!)
Radiohead- give me some great modern british rock will you..(oh you wont..ok). anywho enough with my gayness..angi turned me on to them and thank her....angi you picked a good one this time..dont get too cocky i dont know about some of your shit.
No Doubt- Gwen is my hero? but no dad i don't want platinum blonde hair like hers...im not that cool. for the record ju..i like return of saturn the best..but yes tragic kingdom is cool. woo hoo jon likes them too..we are a lot alike...lol.
Weezer- they made a good decision by putting those suma wrestlers in the Hash Pipe video..totally turned me onto weezer....now if only i could find someone cool like me and burn that cd..then id totally be rockin this heezy.
Sasha and Digweed- *puts in cd..lays on bed with all lights out except cheap disco ball and completely unwinds* oh yes this is totally bitchin'....omg you all have to try that one day. it is so awesome.*not lying this time*
Nelly, Tupac, Ashanti, Ja Rule, Eminem, Dr. Dre, and other various rap artists- yes i do like rap...but only when i want to hear a phat beat....i can't just lay on my bed and listen to it while im trying to think. I need a little more depth and musical talent for my mood swings..lol.
Our Lady Peace- a newfound love due to my dearest of all friends, Ashlee. Omg ash is so right....they are like smashing pumpkins but 20 years younger!!! how exciting!
Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett- Just ask Ash or Jon that this music will soothe me when im in a bad mood. Ash and i used to prank call people at odd hours of the night and blast this into their phone...so i doubt it had the same effect on them then that it does for me.
